mission statement

AS STATED IN OUR CONSTITUTION:

“To bring together those people interested in history and especially the history of  Hamilton Township. . .to discover and collect material which may establish or  illustrate the history of the area. . .to provide for the preservation of such material  and its availability. . .and to disseminate historical information and arouse interest  in the past.”

IS ACCOMPLISHED BY:

  • Gathering and safekeeping books, artifacts, and other historical data. 
  • Holding meetings and sponsoring lectures such as the Speaker Series. 
  • Publishing a quarterly newsletter, The Hamilton Heritage. 
  • Presenting events-- The Ghost Walk, Holiday House Tours, Heritage Walks-- which showcase historical people, places, and happenings.   
  • Offering exhibits at our museum and research opportunities at our library.

IS ENABLED BY:

  • Our member volunteers who generously give their time, talent, and energy. 
  • Dues and contributions to the Annual Fund.
  • Sponsorship by individuals and companies who support our efforts.
