Guided walking Tours

HERITAGE WALKING TOUR

Enjoy a (2) mile, two-hour walk around downtown Mays Landing as you learn about historic sites in the area, including  Memorial Park,  the Court House,  American Hotel,  1880 Train Wreck, and several Churches. The early history of Mays Landing, the founding of the City becoming the County Seat, how the Great Egg Harbor River got its name are just some of the stories from Hamilton Township's history that you will learn and enjoy on our tour.  


When:   Check back in the Spring of 2021 for an updated Tour Schedule.


Time:   1:00pm


Location:  Tour starts at the fountain in Memorial Park (corner of Main Street and Route 50 in Mays Landing).


Cost:  $10.00.   Advance purchase is recommended (see below).  Walk up ticket sales are cash only;  guide cannot provide change. 


Weather Note:   Tours are held in light rain; in the event of severe inclement weather, re-visit this page for an udate.

  5.  No refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased.  Unused tickets may be considered a donation to the Hamilton Historical Society.
